Return of animal species
This project has brought new life to a biodiversity made up of plants endemic to the region, to which the two founders have been able to add new species adapted to the oceanic climate. “This exceptional plant wealth does not fail to attract all kinds of animal species, which are now returning to the hill of Donabo: birds, butterflies, bees and other pollinators which are contributing to the return of biodiversity in the Cap Spartel region”, according to the initiators of this project. To the delight of lovers and plant lovers, this botanical garden offers a chance to revisit the long tradition of the art of gardening in an initiatory and educational journey, which consists of ten successive stages (in the form of small gardens). “From the Moroccan garden which celebrates the tradition of tea to the labyrinth of mints whose paths exhale the scents of the many varieties that are gathered there, from the delicate rose garden which only loves freshness in the garden, to the Chinese garden which reveals its ancestral symbols . From the garden of pollinators whose flowers irresistibly attract bees to the garden of peppers whose certain fruits seem to be playing with fire,…”, it was underlined.
