A budget of 6.34 million dirhams (MDH) is allocated to the construction of 25 preschool education units in several municipalities, within the province of Tetouan.
The construction works of these units are divided into three phases, which should last 6 months from the start of the works, according to the call for tenders published for this purpose by the Agency for the Promotion and Development of the North (APDN ). The first phase, with an estimated cost of 2.03 MDH, includes the construction of 8 pre-school units in the commune of Bghaghza, while the second phase, for an amount of approximately 2.54 MDH, concerns the creation of 10 units in the commune of Bni Harchan.
As for the third phase of the project, at a cost of 1.77 MDH, it concerns the construction of 2 preschool units in the municipality of Souk El Kdim and 5 units in the municipality of Ain Lahsan.
This project is implemented within the framework of a partnership between the APDN and the provincial directorate of national education, preschool and sports of Tetouan, under the supervision of the province of Tetouan and in cooperation with several stakeholders in the domain.
This project aims to increase the coverage rate of urban areas in the province of Tetouan in preschool units, with a view to ensuring the generalization of this education by 2025 throughout the territory of the province, which will enable children aged 4 to 6 years old to access quality preschool units and benefit from continuous supervision.
