The woman rniste, as an activist, active and dynamic, is involved in current issues at local, regional, national and international levels.
In this sense, the National Federation of Women Ministers has just organized its second regional meeting in the region of Casablanca-Settat under the slogan “Women’s rights and development issues”.
This event confirms once again the involvement of the woman nist through her contribution within the framework of this communicative, consultative, interactive and deliberative meeting and by getting actively involved in the present debates because the challenges of development invite us all to contribute and develop proposals and ideas, in this case for economic empowerment as one of the main entry points to establish equality between women and men.
This project finds its foundation in the Constitution whose provisions have granted great importance to the empowerment of women so that they contribute economically, socially and politically to the strengthening of the rule of law.
It is also in line with efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals by paying particular attention to the promotion and protection of women through a range of measures, including the promotion of women’s rights and the principle of equality, the activation of the body for parity and the fight against all forms of discrimination, the launch of a national policy to fight against violence against women, the development and implementation of an integrated national program for the economic empowerment of women by 2030.
The meeting was an opportunity to raise the necessary questions and to elaborate proposals, plans, strategies and work programs on the economic, cultural, social and scientific aspects.
