A Council of Government will be held on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, said a statement from the Executive Department on Monday.
At the start of its work, the Council will hear a presentation by the Minister for Equipment and Water on “the shortage of water and the structural and urgent measures taken” and another by the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries maritime, rural development and water and forests on “the measures taken in anticipation of the 2022-2023 agricultural campaign”, adds the press release. The Council will then examine a draft law relating to the private domain of the State and two draft decrees, the first of which amends and supplements the decree issued pursuant to the law establishing the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments, then that the second fixes the number of regional commissions of tax appeal, their seats as well as their circle of competence, according to the same source.
It will complete its work by examining proposals for appointment to high office, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, the statement concludes.
