A new police district and the new headquarters of the traffic accident service (SAC) were inaugurated on Saturday in Tangier, as part of the implementation of the plan of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) aimed at develop, modernize and strengthen its infrastructure and bring the security administration closer to the citizen.
This 12th police district, located in the Al Irfan district and under the Tanger-Medina police district, constitutes an integrated security structure, which includes service facilities and accessibility, able to support the urban expansion of this regional hub and to facilitate citizens’ access to the services provided.
This security structure, inaugurated in the presence of the Wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, Mohamed Mhidia, the President of the Regional Council, Omar Moro, the interim police chief of Tangier, Abdelkabir Farah, and representatives of the security authorities , military and judicial, aims to provide integrated security and administrative services to citizens.
